Privacy policy

This explains what Armageddon (the mod, the installer, this website and our Discord) collects, why, and what you can do about it. We keep as little as we can, we never sell it, and there are no ads or tracking cookies.

What we collect

When you visit this website

Our server records standard request logs: your IP address, the page or file you asked for, the time, and your browser's name. We use them only to keep the site running and safe, and delete them within 14 days. Fonts on this site load from Google Fonts, so Google also sees your IP address under Google's privacy policy.

When you make an account

We store your email address, your password (only as a salted one-way hash, so nobody, us included, can read it), your display name, your Minecraft name, your Discord username if you add it, your beta application, your key and tier once you're in, and whether you've agreed to get emails from us (with the date you chose). We use these only to run your account and the beta.

One cookie, arm_session, keeps you logged in. It's strictly necessary, lasts up to 30 days, and isn't used for tracking. You can change your details or switch emails off on your account page at any time. Deleting your account there erases it from our live system straight away and from our backups within 14 days.

Emails

We only send you news about Armageddon (the beta, updates, new features) if you tick the box that allows it, and you can switch it off on your account page whenever you like. Every email we send will also have a way to stop them. We never sell or share your address.

When you get an activation key

We store your Minecraft name, your Minecraft account ID (UUID), your key's tier and the date it was issued. That's how a key is tied to your account. We keep this while your key is in use, and delete it when you ask (your key then stops working).

When you use the installer

It downloads files from this website and Fabric's version server (meta.fabricmc.net). It doesn't send us anything about you or your computer beyond the normal download request above.

When you use the mod

The mod has no analytics or tracking. It stores its settings, waypoints and macros only on your own computer. If a feature that talks to our server is added (such as Armageddon Chat), this policy will say what it sends before it goes live.

When you use our Discord

Your Discord username, ID and messages are handled by Discord under Discord's privacy policy. We only see what you post in our server or send us.

When you buy something

Payments are handled by our payment providers (such as Stripe, PayPal or a crypto payment service). We never see or store your card details. We receive your name or username, email, what you bought, the amount and the date, and keep those records as long as tax law requires.

Who we share it with

Only the services that make Armageddon work: our server host, our payment providers, and Discord. We share data with authorities only when the law requires it. We never sell your data.

Age

Armageddon is for people aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you think someone under 18 has given us their data, email us and we'll delete it.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. If you're in the EU, UK or a place with similar laws, you also have the right to object, to get a copy of your data, and to complain to your data protection authority. Email armageddonclient@gmail.com and we'll reply within 30 days.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top and post about it in our Discord.
